'The idea of creating a circular walk around Bodmin Moor was something I had been mulling over for some time. Walkers come to Cornwall in their thousands every year to walk the South West Coast Path, but how many ever think about exploring the inland areas? Away from the gift shops and fast food outlets that often blight many of the seaside towns and villages there is another Cornwall waiting to be discovered. This other Cornwall remains hidden even to many who live in the County.
Working with The Best of Bodmin Moor I have been able to realise this ambition and create what I consider to be the best possible circular walk of the moor.'

The Copper Trail was featured in Walks magazine published by the Ramblers Association.
It is hoped that The Copper Trail will be waymarked and incorporated in future editions of OS Landranger and Explorer maps.
