Lying between Launceston and Bodmin from east to west, and between Camelford and Liskeard, north to south, Bodmin Moor is at the gateway to the Duchy. It lies within a short drive of both the north and south coasts as well as many of Cornwall's other attractions. Sculpted by the winds that blow over the tors and the waters that flow over the moors and through the wooded valleys to the sea, this ancient and enigmatic land has been shaped by years of human endeavour into the wonderful landscape we see now.
Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and constituting a significant proportion of The Cornwall AONB, Bodmin Moor provides a haven for lovers of birds and wildlife and is a delightful place to walk and enjoy the peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of modern day living.
In its annual conference programme, Cornwall AONB described these landscapes as 'an inspiration to artists and craftspeople, a reason why people live here and come on holiday. |

Our most resent publication, "The Copper Trail," describes six longer walks which together form a complete circumnavigation of Bodmin Moor.
